The bi-weekly audio book!

Image
I missed a turn with this last audiobook, however this week I bring more stories, audiobooks... kind of. They are not so much audiobooks as spoken word stories. I did this before, last Halloween! That's right stragglers, it's time for CreepyPastas . For those of you who don't know what a CreepyPasta is, it's basically a creepy spoken-word story to be found on the interwebs. For the most part, they are stories that have become legends on the interwebs and shared around as fiction(?). That question mark was intentional because some have transcended fiction- like the " Slender Man " which inspired real-life murders. Now, I know what you are thinking, but some are actually pretty good. I am not so sure about these, I have never listened to this one- that's the thing about creepypastas; you never know what you are going to get. Cheers!

A new video on the channel...

Image
I finally finished a new piece of artwork for the youtube channel. So, I am just going to leave this here for all of you! I hope you enjoy it! Cheers, and keep on creating!

Lets start with some art...

This year started off really busy. I have been scanning more and more art, I have been updating my manuscript, and I have been indulging, and educating myself in the world of laser artwork. Some of that art I scanned has ended up on cutting boards, which look great now! Nothing like a good sanding, cool burned design, and new finish to bring them back to life. I have also been working on some videos too, but we will get to that as the year unfolds. Keep an eye out for those.  Right now, I want to take some time and say "Welcome to the new year, we have high hopes for you, don't let us down 2022." To start off this year here is some of my artwork for you all to enjoy, and as always it will be posted in the gallery. Cheers my friends and keep on writing!

Another way to tell a story...

I was perusing the interwebs, as one does when one has some extra time. So there I was sitting on the crapper scrolling through my newly created Twitter account. I am still adjusting to Twitter when I came across a rabbit hole. This particular rabbit hole is a controversial one when it comes to art, music, and the crafts of writing and storytelling. But nonetheless, I recognize it as one of the most expressive mediums to work in and have even dabbled in it from time to time.  If a person knew where to look and could dig deep enough, they might even find some of my old work buried between the dark web and the deepweb- not to date myself. I am of course speaking of video games as a storytelling medium. If there are some older folks reading this I understand your trepidation, but I would argue that some of the best storytelling ever has been done on game consoles and PCs. Between consuming Tolkein and  Conan Doyle Some of my favorites were the likes of Square enix and Capcom. In fact, I m

A good laugh, Also a bonus laugh!

Since it's the month of October, I thought I would post as many horror posts as I could. This one I found during my wandering across youtube. I had a good laugh, I hope you do too! This one is for all the Dr. Seuss fans, who want to "Lovecraft" but just haven't found the time.  And for those who love the Lovecraft rabbit hole, here's another one. Cheers, and keep on creating!

I am a Twit.

I have been fighting this for a long time because I don't much care for social media, however, I am trying to broaden my marketing presence and establish a bigger online persona. So, I now have an account on the "Twitters." They tell me my handle is ( @JBSommerset ). So join me over there where I will be posting my brain droppings from time to time!  Cheers, and keep on creating!
